Welcome!

Well, I'm here and this seems to be working, so welcome to my little corner of the web. I'm not entirely sure what I'll be posting here, but hopefully it'll be of interest to some folks regardless. I may brainstorm about story ideas or description concepts I'm playing with , rant about how much video games SUCK these days, or ponder on the coming apocalypse. Whatever comes, I promise it won't be too dull. Thanks for stopping by!

Some useful information

In addition to the story page I've got linked at the bottom of the LJ window, I also have a personal page here: http://www.concentric.net/~rochndil

During my work hours, I'm normally reachable on FurryMUCK as Rochndil and on the Erotic Labs MUCK as Marian (the helpstaff-cow }:).

I've got a couple of other things up on the web, but nothing of significance. Probably the most unusual thing about me is that I do NOT have ANY IM programs, and will not. Period. IMO those things fall into the same crappy class of software as the file-sharing clients, which are a total disaster! Personally, I like computers that WORK, not ones that are COOL. "Cool" software, in my experience, is usually the stuff that will garbage your system faster than anything else. So don't talk to me about how "cool" something is, and don't try to sell me on file sharing or IMs, I'm PERMANENTLY not interested.

In the next little bit I'll discuss some of my thoughts on the current state of the world, and what I'm hoping might be solutions. I'll also throw up some of my character descriptions, bits of stories and story ideas I've been pondering, and maybe even some original writing created just for this place. Stick around, this will get updated a lot more frequently than my main story page.
